00 an hour 17 hours ago 17 hours ago 17 hours ago Knowledge of office staff and basic operations to direct walk in persons to the correct department Obtains and enters all pertinent paperwork to register patients in a timely manner Collects all applicable co-payments, deductibles and balances Maintains updated schedules in the EMR system Accurately prepares charts in advance for the next day Maintains a pleasant and clean patient waiting area Completes daily closing procedures and balances all payments at the end of the day for entire practice.
Prepares daily deposits for scheduled courier pick-up and delivery to the bank Schedule all procedures ordered in an accurate and efficient manner Ensures that all orders remain current, pre-cert requests are forwarded and applicable notes are entered Job duties include, but not limited to Associates seeking to join our practice are motivated individuals with exceptional organizational skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail and effective communication skills- both written and oral.
Our ideal candidate will need to have the following:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years of related work experience and/or training is preferred.
This position requires proficiency with EMR practice scheduling software, eClincialWorks a plus, call center phone queue applications, and patient medical record electronic storage software.
