The Warehouse Supervisor is a critical member of the Ubique Group management team and reports to the DC Operations Manager.
This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parcel shipping area.
The key metrics for this position are cost reduction, productivity improvement, quality, service level attainment and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES Directs the day-to-day operations of the parcel shipping area to ensure safe, timely, high quality product delivery while reducing costs Partners with DC management on interviewing, hiring, performance management, terminations, and counseling within the parcel shipping area Reports and tracks department numbers and corrective actions Establish and adjust work procedures and shift schedules to meet deadlines as dictated by volume fluctuations Maintains safety and housekeeping of department in accordance with OSHA standards and in partnership with the total DC safety objectives Ensure that operators meet or exceed minimum company standards and that all necessary licenses and certifications are up to date Supports and drives ongoing change within the organization Works with internal departments and customers on special requests COMPETENCIES Action Oriented Command Skills Timely Decision Making Integrity and Trust Interpersonal Savvy Motivating Others Problem Solving Drive for Results Self-Knowledge Time Management QUALIFICATIONS 3
Years in a distribution center environment Experience in establishing and leading teams in the discipline of order fulfillment Previous experience in e-commerce distribution preferred Strong analytical / reporting skills required, proficient in Excel Proven track record of leading through change & driving efficiency Must be able to prioritize, manage and drive projects effectively and meet deadlines BENEFITS We offer a competitive benefit package that includes:
